Went out at 3am. Netted 50 bunker pretty easy. Then ran out to middle ground just a couple of blue bite off. No bass. Think it's time to start fishing block or montauk |

Not that I've heard of Michael. My buddy nets them and fishes from boat also all the time. That SOB won't take me out though! _________________ There's a fine line between fishing....

You can net as long as you have your permit and use a 60 foot net. Your not supposed to net in the harbor. But we all do. |

Haven't been there in a while, but when the bunker were in heavy in norwich, we'd snag as many as we could and freeze em. Beats buyin a bag or two every weekend. _________________ ...of all the liars among mankind, the fisherman is the most trustworthy.

50 bunker is nothing. With 3 guys you will go through them in two hours if the blues are on the reefs. If I could keep more alive I would bring 75. |

There's also a new regulation on bunker. 50 bunker or a full 5 gallon bucket... which ever comes first. C23 didn't do anything wrong so each person on board gets their own limit of bunker. _________________ Got em!! |

What size net do you use? I recall you gill netted. I've been snagging or using a cast net, but was thinking about getting a gill net as well. _________________ RNA - It's in my blood.

Thanks. I guess I'd need a personal use license as well. I looked up Gotcha and will certainly take my business to a local. _________________ RNA - It's in my blood.
