After staying up late overnight Friday and not feeling tired much, I headed out to Seaside. High tide was 5:04 and low tide was 11:12. North winds were a steady 8 to 12 when I got there and stayed that way. Arrived around 6:30.
I covered water resulting in 4 sea robins and a 13" fluke all on the original pearl shad FLR-10. The fluke was the first one I've landed in at least 2 years. 2 sea robins were pulling on my 7 foot Airwave and 10 pound braid like a strong aggressive 24" striper.
Hit the road just after noon. |

1 thing I forgot to mention is there were many thick schools of silversides being chased by most of the sea robins and the fluke I caught. |
