Took advantage of the seasonably warm temperatures and did a little trout fishing on the farmington river at the end of woe wassa road. I was able to catch one 12" brown but had to cut the outing short after I broke, off my only spinner I had with me on a rock all in all good outing for a trout newbie |

Thanks for the report. Almost every time I drive past the Big Bird bridge, I think of trying for trout or smallies just downriver from the base of the pedestrian bridge over the river. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

No, not yet, but I've been told that they're there. On second thought, that's not entirely true. I caught one in the Dunning's quarry pond that's across the river from Tunxis Mead. It was delicious! _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |
