If you went fishing at 1pm in the afternoon what types of lures would you try first? Everytime I am fishing at these times I never know what the best kinds of lures are. And I am usually fishing from shore. |

From the shore I would throw shiners. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

Yeah, I never really use live bait for bass. But I'll have to try it. |

Depends on the weather, but today at 1:00p.m. I tried senkos, finesse worms, a chartreuse spinnerbait, a Spro frog, creature baits, and flukes. Didn't matter...the bite stopped. I caught 9 fish between 5:30 to 11:30 a.m., then hung around not catching fish for another 4 hours. _________________ Kira

Yeah, I just need to find some lakes that actually have fish in them around Haddam. I think the place I was going to is just dead. |

Pick up a cheap canoe and hit every deep water dock you can find on a bright sunny day. Once you are on the water you will never fish from shore again! _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

When you guys use things like the Zoom Flukes, do you use them weightless? And yes, i'm trying to get a boat but it's a little hard to fit in a mustang . Though I have this 6' inflatable boat i'm going to try out |

Yeah that stang is gonna be real good in the snow here in CT too. I don't know how much of a die hard fisherman you are, but when you can swing it, get a small 4x4 pickup and a jon boat or a canoe, and have at it. Fishing from shore sucks big. _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |
