Made plans with Jon S to take out the bass tender and go to Mudge pond, but we both went out the night before and didnt get much sleep so we decided to stay a little closer to home and go to Dog Pond. Nice pond with lots of weeds, perfect for flipping. I started the day off with a 5+ largemouth. Shortly after a picked up a solid 2lb chunk. We thought we were off to a good day....not the case. We only caught one more rat and one slimedart each. That one fish was nice, but it was a tough bite. |

I have been flipping mostly a paca craw made by netbait and a craw papi made by yum. I keep it simple with colors......green pumpkin or black most of the time. You got it Ron. I have not been targeting larger fish but they have been finding me this year! |
