Sunday afternoon low tide was scheduled for 2:20 so I hit the Remington sandbar. Got there just before 12pm.
Winds were steady 5 to 10 mph southwest with an occasional 12 to 15 mph gust.
I tried throwing practically everything I had with me. 2 Skitter Pops never had a swirl. Flake Ayu Max Rap MXR-13 never got a hit. Original Pear Shad FLR-10 never had a follower. Not a single swipe at a Saltwater X-Rap SXR-10 or Jointed Shallow Shad Rap JSSR-7.
Eventually got a wind knot on the braid and the line snapped.
Hit the road around 1:45pm
Snapper fishermen weren't getting anything. Didn't see any signs of bait around and the air smelled clean.
