You can't really determine the sex of a bass without doing a biopsy. Sometimes a male will express milt when caught when they're spawning. If your concerned about killing a "Spawning" female Striped Bass just look for milt. No milt, let "her" go. Also, generally speaking any bass over 34 or 36 inches is female. |

If it was in the river, average 35" or bigger and has a fat belly I always assume it's a female, it's in the river for a reason. _________________ Put your time in it will always payoff!
