| Went to Crystal Lake in Middletown in the evening last night. I used a minnow for a little bit with no success, then attached a spinner and caught a little guy as well as a few more bites. It started to get a little darker outside so I switched to a yellow spinner bait and had a few bites. I was fishing from shore near the cattails. Anyone fish there? I'm a beginner and just learning about lures and time of day/temperature etc., so any help would be appreciated. |

| I have tried there a few times lately and got one pickerel on some junk tube and a small bass on a senko. There is a nice spot across from the small dock down a path, looks pretty deep to me. However, I seem to get a lot of weeds if i use anything on the bottom. |
