Hit Crystal again after work with ShortyPowers....
Water temp ~ 78*
Started off great with a a couple largemouths each on the drop shot rig (including my own PR) . (good bit of weeds too) Shorty picked up one about 1' 13oz Then things slowed down so I tried a senko while he tried a crankbait and we found nothing. We just setup a drift from the cove out to the main part of the lake as there was a lot of ski boats zipping around. We tried something different and headed to the far corner in sharp drop of f(10' -40') and I picked up a 16" Rainbow and he picked up a brown about the same size...Still drop shots...Shorty also managed to pull out a pumpkin seed at 27' Stupid fish. We then headed back to the rocky area where we got adventurous. I threw a jig and trailer while he was working the spinnerbait. He picked another just under 2lbs with that and then another one with a topwater. I gave up on the jig and went back to the drop shot to find a couple rock bass in the shallows and a couple more largemouths on the drop shots (as did Shorty).
Overall an awesome night with good fishing being best about 9pm.
Shorty will add some more that I probably left out.... _________________ 6.5' Penn Long Beach with a Penn 330Gti for deep sea
