I will answer my own question. Went to Coventry on Sunday. Didn't even get out of the truck as I seen the lake was at least 1/2 if not more open Water. |

There is ice in the Northern Corner. It was a good 6-7 inches, but it closed Saturday the 1st. I was there on the 31 (last day) and caught my first two Walleye through the ice. Typical shorts, but it was nice to cross that off my list of things to catch through the ice. Next year, catching a keeper will be the goal, but I guess that is hard to do at Coventry. Hopefully Squantz will freeze well. |
