A striper was the last fish that I thought I'd catch all the way up in the cove at the end of the canal, Steve. And just before the slack low tide, too! The canal is like a box of chocolates. . . . |

Yeah, like a 81/2 pound Pacu! there are always SOME stripers in the river, schoolies and such, they overwinter in the CT as well as some of the more known rivers like the Thames and Housy that have way higher numbers, In fact i watched a guy catch a 20 incher off a smallie spot in Hartford last week! |
