it's just so well lit. the flash on my underwater camera sucks. thanks. from my own experience in addition to what i've read, brown bullhead are caught more by accident than they are intentionally. got this one night fishing with a texas rigged motor oil berkley.

Nice fish. I've had bullhead hit weird things before. You think you have a nice trout on and then those things surprise you. Lots of fun on 4 pound test.

Back in the summer of 2011 member Mikeyinstfd and I were at Great Hollow and saw a bullhead nesting near shore. Mike took a Rapala Crankin Rap and played with it on the surface of the water near the fish. That got the brown bullhead to come up and grab it.

It could have been guarding a nest Mike, they get very aggressive around then.
