Anyone know places for catfish in new Fairfield county? I may give zoar or lillinonah a try but I'm not sure. I'll use some squid chunks for them if I do go.

Caught a kitty cat on Saturday. Mt Tom. Wasn't targeting them but he was ALL that bit! Fishing after a rainstorm sucks! I know it in New York but it's right over the border, Putnam Lake has tremendous cat fish in it.

What do you guys think of squid? And has anyone ever tried soap? Jeremy Wade from river monsters used it and caught some monsters and it always made me wonder but I never have actually tried.

You can fish 3 rods now. Use mackerel on the one that will be going off all night and soap on #2 and squid on #3.
Let us know how it goes.
