They just released the list of eligible ct lakes, here it is:
Conventry Lake
Pachaug Pond
Highland Lake
Squantz Pond
Batterson Park Pond
Mashapaug Lake
It would be nice if they said what species of fish they put in each lake but I cannot find that anywhere. |

Well, x182dan, TurtleKiss (aka Kira) could tell you that they tagged a 16 inch, two pound largemouth bass at Batterson Park Pond! _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

Quote: | In Connecticut, DEEP is Cabela’s state partner and has tagged a total of forty fish (largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, walleye, and trout) in six water bodies. |
Also, I didn't see anything about this on the Cabela's site, but the raccoon eyes might have been worth it:
Quote: | Among the winning fish, there are grand prize winners that may qualify for bonus prizes based on the winning angler using or wearing sponsors’ products when they catch a tagged fish. |
Yay! Berkley sunglasses.

Thanks again, Bob...Your generous donation of sugar & caffeine contributed to my PB-tying (Stillwater, May 2011) 17 hour stay at Batterson.
BTW, this fish likes honey-glazed, full-size Watermelon Magic brush hogs. _________________ Kira

i could see your blond hair from the dam today...
WITHOUT my binoculars. haha, recognized ya from a mile away.
one gentleman got a new PB 38.02 pounder at the fish-in today that was held there
I wont mention his name, and i hope he doesn't mind me posting the picture, but this is something to be extremely proud of _________________ ...of all the liars among mankind, the fisherman is the most trustworthy.

Yeah, I'm recognizable. I know. The floating bathtub isn't doing me any favors.
I was fortunate to witness the landing of that monster carp...cool fish, but even cooler to see someone set a new PB after 15 years. Good stuff! _________________ Kira
