In previous years my go to bait has been a buzzbait. It is now July and I have yet to get a strike on one. Are the fish getting wise to this bait? Am I the only one who has noticed this? just wondering; cmorjoe |

I've never done well with them, except on the CT river. _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

I've never given buzzbaits much of a chance, but I saw a guy catch a decent 16 inch, 2 lb 2 oz largemouth bass with one in Batterson Park Pond earlier this year. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

i was wondering the same, i pull out the buzzers everytime when its dark or about to get dark and i get nothing, idk i think jitterbugs fished slow are tough to beat. it always produces vicious strikes |

I've been killin it on the buzz bait this year! Black or white, fish them slow...Sometimes I hook up while the bait is still under the surface. Caught a 7 lbs. largemouth yesterday right at dusk with the white buzzbait, biggest larry this year for me. |

I've done well with them, but I fish them as fast as humanly possible. It gets tiring pretty fast too. Cast parallel to weedlines & start your retrieve before the buzzbait hits the water. _________________ Kira
