I didn't take an actual measurement, but I'd say it Burr had about 3.5" inches on it. Went out and fished for a couple hours and jigged up a couple pan fish. There were a few other guys out there. _________________ PB LMB: 4lb 13oz

Glad to hear some die-hards are hittin the ice and jiggin' em up!
I'm sure in the next week or so, there's going to a lot more posts with guys out there fishing - hopefully I will be one them...I just want to wait a while longer for the ice to thicken up.
Post some pics too! |

I was only out there for 2 hours(2:30-4:30) with 3 tipups and my jigging pole and didn't get a flag up the whole time. I saw one guy running for a flag across the pond at one point, but got distracted and didn't see if he actually caught one. _________________ PB LMB: 4lb 13oz

It's probably all about knowing the right spot. I don't have much experience fishing burr, and never fished park. Though, I can tell you that a lot of people told me that Stillwater stinks for ice fishing, but I usually do well there. It stunk for me at first too, but eventually I found a good spot and just go back to the same one now. Do some exploring. _________________ PB LMB: 4lb 13oz
