Finally got my fishing license today( Glad i waited, but i wont stir that pot) With much debate i decided to head down up to Lower bolton where i always pull something out of the water.
I started fishing a rapala jerkbait with no hits, switched to a boo yah mini spinner, nothing, then tried a charteuse mepps with nothing, starting packing up to leave, then decided to try a football-jig and hawg, on my first cast i hooked up with my first bass of the year, not a huge bass but i will take it!
I hooked up with another smaller bass after that and then they turned back off. but i will settle for that.[/img]
