i hooked up on a what looked like a 23 24 in trout in a pool where i saw three or four big ones swimming in. they hit reals flys like crazy but i floated a meal worm right in front of ones face and he took it!!!! after a maybe 5 sec fight he came off and i almost snaped my pole in two with anger. i watch them all day swim in the pool but not taking anything i own after that one. the pool produced lots of trout other then the three big ones i will try again this week end if they managed to evade other fisher man |

USE MARSHMELLOWS AND MEALWORMS! THE BEST!
WITH A SLIDING EGG WEIGHT WITH A SPLIT SHOT AND A SIZE 6 HOOK. _________________ - Shut up and fish

I've hit several 20+" so far, got a 26" brown in the saugatuck river today, try getting some small dry flies, got that one on a #10 olivewing, but been hitting them on the lucky craft pointer non-stop everywhere i've been this spring aswell _________________ "Nobody touches the Shaqtus" |

I've yet to use this rig with the Marshmallow but from what I understand, it's the mini marshmallows. I'm going to start using it soon. _________________ Going for that trophy fish! |

Do you have to use a egg weight? I've never used one in my life. I always use two BB size split shot at the most depending on water depth.
Also, Do you use snell hooks with a long shank or just a hook you have to tie on? What hooks do you use for this rig? _________________ Going for that trophy fish! |

egg weight, tie on hook size 6 to 4 with a split shot under the egg weight . put the split shot on 8 inches above the hook to hole the eggweight above the hook. _________________ - Shut up and fish
