Hit 28 degrees at my house in central ct
What about you guys in the nw corner what was it up there?
I feel ice a comin!

West side one said 29, north side one said 28. Frost on the windshields but not the grass.

I live in the south west part of ct and yesterday on my way to school i noticed a few little swamp like ponds had skim ice on them!!!

Talk really quiet we don't wanna scare the ice off (or jinx our selves). With any luck if you're in the know we might find ice in 6 weeks.

Have a little faith. Most years if your willing to fish some of the smaller hidden ponds, you can find ice between Thanksgiving and the first full week of December.

I hit huntingtion state parks main pond (hopewell lake) in mid december with 3inches of black ice during 2011's ice fishing season.
