After getting bored while surf fishing, I headed straight for my usual small pond. Didn't bother going all the way back home for my different gear because I had some smaller and medium sized lures with me already.
Concentrated mostly with a 9cm shad Rapala Skitter Pop and lost the only fish. Other crankbaits and plugs never saw anything.
Later I went to the private lake. Lost the Skitter Pop in a tree. Had a hit on an 11cm flathead minnow Rapala Original Floater and caught a 2 1/4 pounder with it.
Hit the road around 5:30pm. |
