Ended up with 11 boats for the 1st annual BAWS Invitational tournament on the CT River out of Salmon River launch this past Saturday from 6am-2pm. Weather was great, very warm and steamy.
Tough day for most guys out there. 1st place went to Randy and Laura with five fish for 12.58 lbs and 3.6 lb lunker. Myself and Steve Slay took 2nd with 10.25 lbs and fellow BAWS members D-Will and Rhodes came in 3rd at 6.67 lbs.
We never established a pattern, just picked up a fish every hour or so. Got one on a surface plug, a few on crawbugs and the rest on plastic worms. I heard other guys caught fish on senkos and other soft plastics.
We had a good turn out, just wish the fishing was a bit better for everyone. Well do it again next year! _________________ Bringing Along Weighty Sacks

Nice job Everyone!! My boat ended up with 1 keeper LMB about 2 lbs and 8-10 dinks. Mostly on jigs and Shakey head rig.We ended up dumping our Fish and running out of gas right at the launch. Pulled out early but saw some good summertime Bass. Congrats again to all who fished!! And caught fish. oh and did'nt run out of gas. or toilet paper. And brought enough senkos _________________ B.est
