Thanks Jon for the trip...too bad we couldn't do better....We had 5 keepers between us & had alot of blow-up on Topwater in the mornin...1 on a frod in the pads...1 on a jig....1 on a superfluke...2 on a zaraspook ....fished from 5 to 1 before having ti leave do to spraying the weeds.... _________________ Pads is there anywhere more fun to fish? |

Hey Keith, not a bad day. Were you talking about the weed treatment at Bantam? Heard they were going to give it another round this year. One of these days we'll have to actually fish Bantam together.

they sprayed the south end by the road & all around Deer Island...i'm pretty sure that was it.....YES T VAL someday.... It will be nice launching out of the other end & hitting the pads ASAP.... _________________ Pads is there anywhere more fun to fish? |

Saw a pix in paper of boat launching at state ramp getting ready to apply herbicide. I was concerned last year about this, but actually thought it helped out in the outlet cove, as they did not totally wipe out the vegetation. Instead it opened up holes in spots, and I caught some nice fish along edges. Have to see what happens this year.

I didn't think Bantam had a weed problem?! That place is a great fishery.....if it aint broken don't fix it!!! _________________ Eat, Sleep, Fish......I Love my SKEETER ZX225!!!
