No, the land was donated to the town by private donors. I think it's supposed to be used for "recreational purposes". The donors should have bequeathed it to the State instead of the Town.

Sorry for not following up yet. I will post pictures tomorrow. I was sick for 5 days and missed 2 days of work. So I am still trying to play catch up at work.
Nice post Phil. It was a pleasure to fish and to talk. Can't wait to get out again. I only have a minute. Kira the you won't be able to get the bat up river because of other beaver dams I have had to get out of the Kayak a time or two. Again sorry Phil for not posting Pics. will do like I said tomorrow. I work at a laptop all day and the furthest thing I want to do at home is be on it again.
