Good times in the kayak yesterday. We put in on Butternut Brook, kayaked the shore of Bantam and made our way up the river to Little Pond. Couldn't of asked for a more ideal Spring (Summer!) day. Caught a 3.4 lb LMB mid-way to Little Pond and 3 more up there. Had a fun time watching the fish ambush my top water frog in the pads & scum at Little Pond! I wish I didn't live an hour away, I'd kayak and fish that place more often!

That's my favorite place to paddle. It's a decent place to fish, but even when the bite sucks, it's always beautiful there, even with the sometimes heavy boat traffic. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |
