| I've been looking at these kayaks since they started carrying them. And I have used my cousins so I know it doesn't paddle as easily as some of the pricier kayaks.(God knows I could use the extra exercise) I admit that I'm cheap . But I can't find a reason to buy the $359 angler kayak over the $200 kayak. It seems to me the only thing I gain spending more is 1foot of length and $50 worth of preinstalled accessories . |

Ocean State Job Lot sells the Future Beach Trophy 126 (angler sit-in kayak) for $269.99 and it's the best deal they have going if you're a fisherman. I love mine! I don't see any $200 models on their site, but there is a $179.99 model that lacks a front hatch, front bungie cords, rod holders and is only 8' 6". Personally, the extra $90 is well worth it for the added accessories and longer boat that is going to be more stable and track better over distances. Just my opinion…it's all personal preference…either way you go you'll be on the water and accessing better fishing spots!

| i bought the future beach angler 160 sot i like it they r a little heavier then normal but all in all great kayak for the money 399 99 is what i paid from ocean state job lot |

| I believe Job lot has that angler SOT on sale for $369. I was going to buy that one but I didnt....now I wish I had! I bought the Apex 100 on sale at Dick's for 199.99 and used the $10 coupon from the anglers guide to get it down to $189.99. It is okay....but I should have bought the angler 160 from Job Lot!!!! |
