I checked the weather map right before I left work and it looked like there was an open window between storms for a few hours,..so i stopped by Pataconk lake on the way home with my kayak! I alternated between a dropshot worm and a jig & pig,..which were the only two setups that I brought! Proved to be a good move as I caught several fish on each. I ended up with 6,..all bass in the 2 hours that I was there. Had a couple of frisky 3-lbers,..but the highlight of the day was this old gal that went 6.25 on the Boga!! One fish came from the pads but everything else was on the outside weedline i n 6-10 FOW!

Great fish, Mark. Looks like you've found yourself a sleeper pond. Is the bass boat getting cobwebs on it? |
