The 2012 Rhode Island recreational regulations have been set for the following inshore species:
Fluke (summer flounder):
Bag limit increased by 1 fish; now 8 per day.
Minimum size: 18.5″.
Season: May 1 to December 31
Scup (individual):
Bag limit doubled to 20 fish per person, per day & 23 days added to season.
Minimum size: 10.5″.
Season: May 1 to December 31
Black Sea Bass:
Bag limit increased to 15 fish per person, per day & season increased by 3 weeks.
Minimum size: 13″.
Bag limit: 15 fish per day.
Season: June 15 to December 31
